²¹ Tahath’s son was Zabad. Zabad’s son was Shuthelah.

Ezer and Elead went to Gath to steal cows and sheep and were killed by some men who grew up in that city. ²² Their father Ephraim cried for them many days, and his family came to comfort him. ²³ Then he had sexual relations with his wife again. She became pregnant and gave birth to a son whom Ephraim named Beriah^[a] because of the trouble that had happened to his family.
